NB! The performance is for one person at a time. The space you choose upon purchasing your ticket is the time your performance starts. The performance takes you out of the theatre building and to the streets, it's a good idea to choose an outfit according to the weather.

You are in a city that is full of specters and you don't know whether they are intimations or memories. You are alone sitting on the bench by a playground. You can hear cheerful shrieking from the empty swing. The sound of kids running is heard from the ground near the carousel and the slide. In the emptyness people are sitting on the bench next to you. You can hear bits of their conversation. Something has happened or is about to happen. Something is different then now.

Phantom Pain is about lonelyness, memory, and loss.

Phantom Pain is a try to depict emptyness so that it's edges cut your finger.

Phantom Pain is a space-specific sound-performance that takes place in different places in Tartu. The viewer wanders on a 1,6km route with the help of a guide. Every performance is unique. Only one person can experience the performance at a time.
